Same mesh.
A whole new look from a prompt.
Give one of your 3D models a completely different skin without touching its geometry. Describe the material or style you want — rusted iron, polished gold, mossy stone, cracked ice — and AnnoMotion re-skins the same mesh in that look, then hands you the re-textured model to download as a GLB. Reuse the models already in your account — or start from one of the two demo models if you haven't made one yet — to spin up variants ready for Unity, Godot or Unreal. Powered by AnnoMotion AI.
What's inside
The geometry stays. The look changes.
Re-texture keeps your mesh, its silhouette and its UVs exactly as they are, and repaints the surface from a text prompt. It's not a re-model — it's a re-skin — so you get consistent variants of an asset you already trust instead of generating a whole new one.
Keeps the same mesh
Your geometry, silhouette and proportions stay untouched. Re-texture only repaints the surface, so the model still fits its collider, its rig and its place in the scene.
New material from a prompt
Describe the surface you want — "rusted iron", "polished gold", "moss-covered stone", "cracked blue ice" — and get that material rendered onto the model without hand-painting a texture.
A family from one mesh
Turn one prop into a family — a pristine version, a weathered version, a magical version — from the same source mesh, so a set reads as one object in different states.
Reuse what you have
Pick a model you've already generated in your account and get more mileage from it. No re-modelling and no starting over — the asset you trust gets a fresh coat. Nothing in your account yet? Start from one of the two demo models instead.
Download a GLB
Get the re-textured model back as a standard GLB with its new surface baked in — an open format that drops straight into your project with no plugin.
Engine-ready output
The GLB imports cleanly into Unity, Godot and Unreal, and opens in Blender — the same model you know, now wearing a different look, ready to place in the scene.
How it works
Three steps, and the same mesh in a whole new material.
Choose a model
Select a finished GLB from your own 3D models, or one of the two demo models in the same list — the tool lists them for you. That geometry becomes the source of truth: re-texture works on the mesh you picked and leaves the shape alone.
Say the new look
Type the material or style you want the mesh to wear: "rusted", "golden", "mossy", "ice". A short prompt is enough to steer the whole surface.
Grab the GLB
Download the re-textured model as a GLB and drop it into Unity, Godot, Unreal or Blender — same mesh, new material, ready to use.
Built for
Game devs, 3D artists and world-builders.
When the shape is right but the surface needs to change — for variety, for state, or for a whole new biome.
Prop variety
Turn a single crate, barrel or sword into a dozen looks so a room stops feeling copy-pasted, all from one mesh.
Damage & states
Ship a pristine and a rusted, mossy or burnt version of the same object to show wear, decay or magic without new geometry.
Biome re-skins
Re-texture an environment asset for snow, desert or jungle so one model serves several regions of your world.
Rarity tiers
Give a weapon or item common, rare and legendary finishes — worn iron to polished gold — from the same base model.
Art-direction passes
Try a stone look, then metal, then crystal on one asset to find the material language before you commit the set.
Marketplace kits
Ship a mesh in several finishes as a pack, or spin fresh variants for store pages and promos, without re-modelling.
FAQ
Re-texturing, answered.
Which models can I re-texture?
The 3D models already in your own AnnoMotion account, or one of the two demo models we ship — so you can try it on your first visit without generating anything. The tool lists both and you choose one to re-skin. The models of yours in that list are yours alone: you cannot point a re-texture at somebody else's model, and it never has to guess what the geometry is.
Does re-texturing change the geometry?
No — that is the whole point of it. The job sends your existing mesh to be re-skinned from your prompt rather than generating a new model, so what comes back is the same object wearing a different surface, with the silhouette and proportions it already had.
What do I get back?
A GLB file. The re-textured model downloads as a standard .glb with its new surface, which is an open format Unity, Godot, Unreal and Blender all read without a plugin or an importer to install.
Can I make several versions of one model?
Yes. Each run is a separate job against the same source, so one mesh can become a whole family — pristine, weathered, gilded, frozen — and every result is kept in your history where you can re-open it, pin the ones worth keeping to favourites, download it again or delete it.
How should I describe the new look?
A short material or style phrase does most of the work — rusted iron, polished gold, moss-covered stone, cracked blue ice. The box takes up to 500 characters, so if one word is not steering it, add the wear, the colour or the finish you are after rather than describing the object itself.
How long does it take, and what if it fails?
It runs as a queued job the page polls while it works, and the tool waits up to eight minutes before giving up. A failure or a timeout refunds the credits automatically, so you are only ever charged for a re-texture you actually receive.
Re-skin your first model.
Pick one of your 3D models — or a demo model, if you haven't made one yet — describe the material you want, rusted, golden, mossy, ice, and download the same mesh with a whole new look as a GLB for Unity, Godot or Unreal.
